Nothing like them in Merced.If you ever see a Jimmy's Tacos..Try it out.They will have you going back for MORE.And asking why don't we have one close to Merced.

Each time I go to Sacramento....I have to eat at Jimboy's. Their tacos are off the hook.I love getting the Enchilada and taco platter. I just wish a drink came with the meal.Delicious and filling!

Just had a great experience here with Rogelio. He’s everything that’s good in the world. I ordered the new chicken, bacon avocado quesadilla. For some reason the card processor wouldn’t process my payment (old card). I had $5 cash in my pocket, and changed my order to a single taco since that was all I had. Rogelio felt bad, and included the quesadilla for free! Wow! What a guy! Not to mention the quesadilla was SO GOOD!! I haven’t been to Jimboy’s in years, and I’m glad I came here for lunch. Great customer service, and great food quality. 5 Stars!!!

This was the first time I had ate at a Jimboy's Tacos, since the mid '70s or so, when they opened a shop in Rancho Cordova California. How many years has that been?I was curious to see if the tacos were made the same and...they were! Lol.If you've eaten at a Jimboy's, it ain't Taco Bell. And, I'm not slamming Taco Bell. I used to eat there many times.Major kudos to whoever trains these folks to make those tacos like back in the day!Oh, yeah. The reason for this review, the food! Staff and food were outstanding!Thanks for taking me back, to when times were a heck of a lot better than now!

I got to try this taco place and it was delicious. I got the crunchy chicken tacos and it didn’t fall apart at all. My fave thing here so far would be the stuffed quesadilla with chicken bacon and avocado. Will go back for sure. This was a few weeks ago when I tried this. I would love to try more things on the menu.

Been coming here for years! Food is great every single visit always satisfied! Can’t go wrong with the #2 Bean and cheese with a ground beef taco and a root beer.One thing I’ve always wanted to know is the back story on the hole in the glass window does anyone know? I’d really like to know about that.

It's been about 20+ yrs since I've eaten at this place so I had to come back when I visited the city. The restaurant was clean even in the bathroom. The service was outstanding and the food was awesome. Brought back so many memories bc my mama used to work for this company back when I was in Jr. High school. Kudos to this location. I will be back soon!

I was really bummed their poppers ( not like tgifridays basic poppers) and shredded chicken tacos are off the menu.This is by no means traditional Mexican food.

If you remember the Jim boys from the "Auction" aka Denios you remember $.25 tacos and good greasy tacos covered in parm cheese. Fast forward to current times, they are basically the same, currwnt times obviously changed the price, and I think they made the tacos more "healthy" as they are now greasy anymore, which is a good and bad thing all I'm one, in my opinion. But all the restaurants seem to follow the same standards for quality and consistency. Overall, a great taco. The burritos are huge and I recommend the California burrito.

Haven't had any Jimboys food for years I think the days of there 99 cent tacos are pretty much over even though the mystery mush filling just enough grease and the delightful finishing touch of parmesan sprinkle still add up to about 25 cents if you made it yourself its kind of fun to stop by & have a taste of yesteryear without the yesteryear prices its probably a good thing though ...your arteries will thank you for not getting addicted

Pretty good even tho there tacos are $2.50 for the ground beef and $2.75 for the chicken there beef is much higher quality than most chains and tortillas are always fresh would recommend to many taco lovers only giving 4 stars because the certain one I go to gets my order wrong a decent amount of the time but that's not something they cant fix

I really like the taste of the simple great tasting tacos. If you are looking for a simple meal with your sweetie or a good lunch then this is a good place for that. Prices were not to bad, service was quick and as i already mentioned the food was delicious. Ill go back for lunch and dinner.

It's a little expensive for what you get but honestly I eat everything they put on the plate. The only way to get in if a right turn. All the left turns are blocked. This place has plenty of parking but was a little hard to get to traffic wise. There was obvious construction going on but the whole place was still cleaner than most restaurants. I was served quickly and the good was amazing as always.

Anyway, the food is legit, full of great flavor and to top it off, gives discount for Veterans and Public Service responsers with the Senior Diacount. I think it is based on the franchisees accomodation. This location is awesome. They have a breakfast menu and I look forward to try it in the future.

This spot is tucked away but their service is awesome and the order was correct. Those are two very important qualities in any restaurant. So I definitely recommend stopping in when you're nearby.

Great Food this location actualy excepts payment from there own app which not all locations do. Be prepared to spend money not fast food budget. $10.50 for a plate with no drink or tortilla. Best to get the daily specials. Wednesdays are the best.
