The Muscular Dystrophy Association of Greater Sacramento and Jimboy’s Tacos are teaming up to help “Make a Muscle” for children and adults affected by neuromuscular disease in the Greater Sacramento area from November 1, 2015-December 31, 2015.

mda2The local mobile campaign will encourage Jimboy’s Tacos guests to purchase and sign a $1-$5 Summer Camp® mobile when they buy Great Fresh Food Served Fast at any of Jimboy’s Tacos locations to raise funds for MDA’s programs of research and health care services, including MDA Summer Camp.

This is the fourth year MDA and Jimboy’s Tacos have partnered for a mobile fundraising campaign. Funds raised from “Summer Camp” mobile sales will benefit families in the Greater Sacramento area served by MDA.

MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research. The Association also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education.

For over 60 years Jimboy’s Tacos have been a Northern California / Nevada tradition. Multiple generations of food aficionados have enjoyed Jimboy’s uniquely flavored menu, anchored by its legendary ground beef taco. More than just tacos, though, Jimboy’s restaurants feature full meals, kid’s meals, a value menu, and a full line of beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetarian items – all freshly prepared daily. Many locations feature a drive thru window for convenience, but don’t let that fool you. They are not fast food, just Great Fresh Food Served Fast.
